BOOM! Here goes the next one in smoke too.

It was a calm and uneventful evening. I should perhaps add frustrating too. How else can I describe spending nearly 6 hours of a prime Saturday evening at the study room, writing a 1500 word essay about evaluating the authenticity of web resources for a dumb Singapore History module?! Ploughing through my research with an enthusiasm that I usually show in the Culinary department, I must say that I was barely able to survive my homework only due to some God blessed lifelines like Youtube, Facebook etc developed for such dying souls. Anyways, coming to the point, at around 7.15 pm while browsing through some CNN blogs, I was hit by the sudden news flash about the Delhi Blasts. After a few moments of initial shock , the familiar resentment abt our sincerely lazy Goverment, its spoilt, money sucking bureucrats, the whole bloody policital organisations that are slow enough to wake up even if an atom bomb burst on its face and ofcourse the terrorists groups fed by enemy governments, built the same old bitching fire that makes us , Indians, get together to either throw a few punches on opposition parties or other religious grps or huddle together and bitch, complain, yell abt the sodding mess of the system we are stuck with.

It adds more oil to the simmering stew when each organisation points fingers at the other and involve in active blaming while they make up a "ABC" terrorist group to dump the blame on and close the case. The royal sucker punch thrown at the end when we sit glued to the TV, strikes home as they finally tag the dead by hanging a compensation amount on each corpse and leave a lesser sum dangling for the injured if they make it through. With this the curtains on the scene are closed shut and a few announcements reg the inverstigations are thrown in between by some Tom,DiCk and Harry.

oh yes, I forgot to mention the main role played by us. After swearing, protesting, sympathising with the victims and well, going mad ( for those who suffered the loss) , we wait. we wait in fear, for the next incident., the next strike to hit, desparately hoping its not our town , not our family that is affected.seems this whole blast series is termed as operation BAD. wow, I am so amazed at the ingenuity of the person who came up with that..

THis feeling of helplessness experienced by the many thousand billion people that turns into anger and later becoming hopelessness is the worst damage of all to our country. I dont understand why this happens, this sudden mob of destruction caused by men on men, I dont know how to stop it, I dont know how to take it and live with it.I write blogs unable to do anything.

well, if you are still with me and are reading this, then you can better check in these links.

And an asshole has taken the liberty of speech and expression to print this shit in
a blog.
http://islamicterrorism.wordpress.com/2008/09/14/delhi-blast-victims-is-manmohan-singh-having-sleepless-nights/
hell of a read to know if PM sleeps or not! and ha, just when i was wondering why no
prig has dragged in communalistic crap.

After 45 minutes of intense digging and scrounging to collect every additional scrap of info abt it, I became tired. tired to the bone of everyhting around me.ok, enough.Lets all rest, study hard, make lots of money, get married and reproduce in bounty as long as it stays away from our family. IS THERE ANY END AT ALL? IS THERE NOTHING WE CAN DO? Pushin up my sleeves, I unsuccessfully try to clear these thoughts from my head and continue with my essay. After all each living thing is stuck with its own immediate misery to worry about. .

and so goes the cycle till the next one blows up in smoke.

Orey the tension eh... i completely get it.. There really is nothing we can do to completely stop terrorism.. The same way we can never completely stop all our fightings and wars..

All you can do is fight against all these stupid motherfuckers who go about killing people.. It's lame..

But at least they are doing somethin about the stuff they believe in.. they believe in violence and believe in making a point via terrorism.. and ppl like us, who believe that we have to stop all the terrorists at all costs don't do anythin constructive to fight them other than bitching about their lame ass ideologies in our blogs. You have to give credit to them surely, for the fact that they are atleast doing what they believe in, even though their principles suck and they have no conscience and morality...

"Ernest Hemingway once wrote, "The world is a fine place and worth fighting for." I agree with the second part." - from the movie Se7en.

That pretty much sums up our world.. as you put it nicely "and so goes the cycle till the next one blows up in smoke."

yeah... all v can do is sit n blog about it. nothing done at the end of the day...

every man fights for a cause he believes in... so war can never be prevented as long as free thinking rules. bottomline: all humans r crap.. nothing is morally right cuz we all have a right to fight for our survival. And die fighting.

ya i totally agree. i m just damn pissed that I am not able to fight for the thing I believe in. when so much is happening around you, you are unable to take any radical step and participate in its process. this lack of action abt sumthing we believe in passionately , this " not doing anything" when we really want to do sumthing desparately, this flame that eventually dies out when the restlessness turns to resignation..and then we just become one of the jaded puppets, making ourself dance to the tune of our resigned life, get settled, get wealthy if we are lucky, increase progeny, get old, and then when we die, with the regrets of ur wasted ambitions, unfulfilled dreams, chilled out passions.. is it worth it to live a life of "satisfaction" we force ourselves into when all we want is to be just live a few years fighting for what we really believe in., living our entire life however short it may be for that cause, that passion, that ambition and die trying to achieve it..and m not just talking about just freedom fighting and national heroism here..just those ordinary dreams, that flame for any of cause that our society/family may consider nonsensical..

"IS THERE ANY END AT ALL? IS THERE NOTHING WE CAN DO? Pushing up my sleeves, I unsuccessfully try to clear these thoughts from my head and continue with my essay."

this is what all of us end up doing.. clearing our thoughts and getting on wid lyf hoping that the next 'boom' stays away from our reach..

as long as there're weapons in this world, terrorism will never quit the scene. somewhere in this world, someone is benefited by selling the weapons they manufacture. its a never ending issue..

at this rate, the world'll end before terrorism does. global warming holds the advantage..

Hai Rt, May b u forget me, the geni-us, that can give u the stupidest answer for any question, irrespective,not disrespective, of the asker;
Actually, terrorists are every where. But only Governments choose the timing of terrorist act. Then why no such activities in Dubai and Saudi Arabia. Because those governments produce terrorists for other Governments to use. U know there is a 'Loose Challenge' theory, as per which even the 9/11 WTC attacks were US Government's choosing the time. Think about why no minister or minister's house is chosen for attack, but only markets or places where commoners converge?
So, terrorism is an armor in the Government's weapon factory. As far preventing such development, enmity in the minds of power-holding people should go. U can say every power-holder should undergo a monthly 'sensitising' programme in order not to look for aggrandisement of enmity.

Hai I forget to caution u about 'The Hindu', which u ask others to refer, may be for news. Actually, it is a tiger covered with cow's skin. It actually promotes christianisation and islamisation and all sorts of conversion of Hindu-India, into a non-Indian one.

Hai!! how can i ever forget my geni-US?!
was wondering y it took so long for u to make an appearance here. :D
hai, yes. terrorists are power weapons stored in the arms of Govt that they hurl at the nation whenever it suits them to make their political blunders not noticable. But there has to b a way for us to curtail it. else the system is too stupid. our lives are just manipulated by the power holders, our rights, individualities taken off.. on those lines, our studies, our derees, our careers n even our lives doesnt have value at all as we are just dots, arranged and reaaranged according to the needs of those power banks to make their own designs.Does that mean that to oppose, challenge or even participate in this system, the only way is to be a power holder ourself? what then is our role in this world if we cant even stand up for the wrong done to us? then what do the lives of thousand billions of average citizens who stay outside this circle worth??
