Its really a fascinating read..like real version of reel movies. But is this really necessary??
Human curiosity always drives him to lurk into any mystery that catches his fancy. and it does result in outstanding discoveries..But this is a bit far-fetched considering the wastage of time and money involved in the project. I wonder if they have thought what they are to do when they finally produce some erratic version of dinosaur..maybe a real Jurassic Park??
To know that this effort when used in productive causes like finding a cure for AIDS perhaps, may help millions of people and yet waste it to recreate a past that is best to be undisturbed makes us clearly see the flaw in human nature- a senseless creature with a 6th sense .

It was a nice read but to call it a waste of time and money would be wrong. Just think of how much new science people would learn from a venture like this. Cloning Extinct animals would definitely be the pinnacle of genetics. When they finally produce even an erratic version of a dinosaur why would you want a jurassic park? Of course the buisness you'll get from such a thing would definitely give u lots of money for other research projects maybe finding a cure for human diseases and stuff but the mere fact that you've brought back an extict species makes this project really really awesome. And why should we spend all our money and time on Our survival and finding cures for Our diseases? , why this sense of human superiority when frankly deep down we all know that we're just another species who'll probably go extinct and sometime in the future maybe other species'll be cloning us back to life. Just my thoughts... free...
s Aarti, dats y i raised de Q weder science can tell the exact date of birth of us who r still living; if not y to talk bout smeting earlier.
@ sriram: hey, ur thoughts r most welcome in this humble home :D.
i definitely am a fan of Science and the miracles we create using it every day. This project wud surely open new avenues of knowledge. But we just have to open our eyes and look around
the world to see what a mess we have made of it already. When we r already busy creating extinct animals,eg, The dwindling rare blue whales still remains a gr8 delicacy in Japan; projects to clone extince animals back to life seems ridiculous. The least we gr8 scientist can try is to stop exterminating species first and later dream of bringing back avatars of the dead..
@masikrithika: its a huge debate..is sci good or bad (ofcourse, i'll go for good).its limitaitons...whats real and wats not..everthing is vague and a mystery..v gotto have a ling chat abt it.
